It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Sydney Hardeman, a devoted pilot, entrepreneur, and beloved daughter, who has gone home to be with the Lord. At just 25 years old, Sydney’s radiant spirit, faith, and passion for life left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A proud graduate of St. Mary’s University, Sydney was driven by purpose, guided by faith, and inspired by her dreams. As a believer, fiancée, pilot, and entrepreneur, she approached every aspect of her life with grace, confidence, and unwavering determination. Her adventurous soul found freedom in the skies, where she felt closest to both God and her purpose.
Her family shared, “Our hearts are broken, and we will miss her every day. Sydney brought so much joy, love, and light into our lives, and we thank God for the 25 years we were blessed to share with her. Crushed that she had to leave us too soon, but we will forever see her in the skies, and feel her in our hearts.”
Sydney’s loved ones describe her as compassionate, loyal, and endlessly encouraging — someone who could lift the spirits of anyone around her. She was the kind of person who made people feel seen, valued, and loved. Whether she was sharing her faith, mentoring others, or pursuing her entrepreneurial ventures, Sydney did everything with a sense of purpose and heart.
Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and community. Yet, even in their grief, they find comfort in the words of Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
